An "Island on another Island"... this is one of the best ways to introduce Capo Sant'Andrea, a natural balcony overlooking the sea of the Island of Elba.
A winding road through the lush, untouched nature takes you down to the sea in Sant'Andrea, and comes to a stop at the fine, white sandy beach.
On one side the chestnut trees seem almost to touch the crystal clear water, while on the other side a path cuts across the cliffs leading to an unusual flat, granite platform.
In the country side behind the town, nature lovers will be able to discover historic mountain paths - traces of past civilizations - and find themselves surrounded by lush and very varied Mediterranean bush.

We had a wonderful stay here in Sant'Andrea, at the Hotel Barsalini. The room had a sea view, the dinner was delicious, the breakfast was varied, and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely be back.
